Former Oilers first-round pick Jesse Puljujarvi was partying hard in a new viral video while he was standing on a stage, leading fans to call him out.

Edmonton's 2016 NHL Draft could have been their turning point, but if only they had handled things differently.
Edmonton, with the fourth pick, held the privilege of choosing Matthew Tkachuk, who everyone knows is a physical, talented winger who dominated in the junior leagues.
But when the world was shocked in the form of Columbus taking Pierre-Luc Dubois, after they too passed on Matthew Tkachuk with the No. 3 pick, Jesse Puljujarvi fell into Edmonton's lap instead of the two-time Stanley Cup champion.

Puljujarvi was so Good During His Draft Year That He Even Won World Juniors MVP

The paper resume of Jesse Puljujarvi was a steal on paper, as he was seen as big, fast, and he was named the MVP of the World Juniors tournament. Oilers Nation got all stoked for him. However, it never panned out.
With AHL stretches, streaky teammates on his lines, and a lengthy resume of coaches, Puljujarvi never settled into a top-six role in Edmonton. He tried, he flashed a little bit of brilliance at times, but ultimately it just never worked out.
Tkachuk, meanwhile? He became the player Edmonton most required in these last two Stanley Cup finals, someone who is clutch and physical. He's the player who's going to turn a series around in the blink of an eye.
Oilers fans are really regretting that draft choice now after a viral video of Puljujarvi partying on stage at some sort of music festival is making its rounds online.
He is becoming the internet laughing stock, and at the same time, Tkachuk is hoisting Stanley Cups.
The Puljujarvi experience was bad. Drafting players is always a risk, but this one hurts. Edmonton missed the opportunity for a game-changer.
