The city of Winnipeg was selected today to host a PWHL takeover game in March between Ottawa and Montreal, and the game will be at Canada Life Centre. The Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) has revealed that Canada Life Centre will be <a href='https://www.nhl.com/jets/news/release-winnipeg-to-host-pwhl-takeover-tour-neutral-site-game' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>one of the venues for one of its 16 neutral-site games for the 2025-26 PWHL Takeover Tour.</a> The event is geared towards bringing elite female hockey talent to various cities across North America. The Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg will play host to a contest between Montreal and Ottawa on Sunday, March 22, with the face-off to take place at 6 p.m. CT. This will represent one of several destinations on the rapidly expanding Takeover Tour. Season two's PWHL Takeover Tour was the first of its kind, giving fans across North America the chance to experience the excitement of a regular season game in their home venues, said Amy Scheer, PWHL Executive Vice President of Business Operations.
