Elias Pettersson Signs Massive Eight-Year Extension With The Vancouver Canucks
Elias Pettersson, one of the Canucks' top forwards, agreed on the terms of an eight-year extension, valued at $11.6 million a year.
Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Elias Pettersson on an eight-year contract.
"Elias Pettersson will carry the NHL's fifth-highest cap hit at $11.6M next season in what is his final RFA year -- behind Auston Matthews ($13.25M), Nathan MacKinnon ($12.6M), Connor McDavid ($12.5M) and Artemi Panarin ($11.642M)."
Pettersson scored 71 points in 62 games with the Canucks this season.
