Philadelphia Flyers Head Coach John Tortorella recently scratched captain Sean Couturier, and former NHLer Brandon Dubinsky isn't happy about it.

Ahead of their Tuesday night clash with the Toronto Maple Leafs, John Tortorella made the shock decision to scratch his captain Sean Couturier after recent struggles.
Now, former NHLer Brandon Dubinsky has joined the chorus of people that are criticizing the decision from the Flyers veteran Head Coach, posting this to social media.
"Torts..your tactics are getting old..instead of scratching and embarrassing your capt and one of your best players how about try and tell him I'm giving you 20 mins tmrw night no matter what with PP & PK and go play free have fun and get it done? "
As some mentioned in the comments, the job of a coach is to motivate his players to get the job done, not be liked, and it appears as though the team responded well. Ultimately though, Tortorella needs Couturier on his side if he's to lead this team to success, so it's highly unlikely that these healthy scratches last for long.
