Wild Head Coach Fires Up Rivalry: Challenges Jets Head Coach to a Showdown
We are nearing the end of the season in the NHL and games are much more meaningful at this moment.
Yesterday the Winnipeg Jets faced off against the Minnesota Wild in a crucial game for the Jets to keep their playoff hopes alive.
With a 3-1 win, the Jets secured a playoff berth in the Western Conference playoffs.
However, during last night's game, tensions rose between both head coaches behind the bench.
Bowness was upset Evason put Reaves on the ice with less than a minute to go to fight. Bowness yelled over to Evason "That's f*king bullshit!", and Evason responded with the gesture of inviting Bowness to fight him.
Wild Head Coach Evason decided to roll with Reaves with 1 minute left on the ice. We all know his intentions behind this move as he wanted to stir things up for both teams.
You can't blame Bowness for getting rattled as Evason's intentions were quite clear. Send Reaves to cause mayhem on the ice.
IT SMELLS LIKE HOCKEY PLAYOFFS.
