During the game between the Canadiens and the Detroit Red Wings yesterday, we witnessed a scene that has never been seen before at the Bell Centre.

Indeed, the Quebec referee of the NHL, Marc Joanette was honored during the game, and he received a very nice ovation from the fans on site.
"Marc Joanette is going to get drunk on the arms of Kent Hughes and Martin St-Louis. Not convenience store wine for sure!

Last game of his career. Bravo!"

- Marc-André Perreault, TVA Sports
Let's just say it's a change from the booing we hear quite regularly during Tricolore games!
