Former OHL Player Faces Legal Trouble After Incident on Golf Course
The shocking video shows a man running across the green on an Ontario golf course wielding his club, and then he proceeds to strike another man in the back with the golf club.
The video also features the man screaming that he wants to kill another person who is off-camera.
Name of Individual Who Has Been Charged Released
Reports have now been released from the Sault St. Marie Police Department stating that the person in the video is former OHL player Joel Sandie. Sandie played for the Kingston Frontenacs, Cornwall Royals, Sudbury Wolves, and London Knights during his junior career from 1990 to 1993.
Sandie never made it to the professional level and is now a realtor in Sault St. Marie. He is scheduled for a Court appearance and was formally charged with assault with a weapon on September 18th.
