The bad news continues for the Montreal Canadiens as the players hit the ice for today's practice.

There are new absentees, which is not a good sign, given the frightening number of injuries that are already on the sidelines.
Kaiden Guhle is out due to a day of treatment, and the same goes for forward Jonathan Drouin.
"Jonathan Drouin is also absent from today's practice." - Patrick Friolet, RDS

Drouin was late to a team meeting today and hence wasn't at practice and may be benched for the next game.
As for Guhle, in the game against the Panthers, he appeared to tweak his left knee, the same one that caused him to miss two months of action. He had to retreat to the locker room on the spot, but returned to the game a few minutes later to complete the game.
In 46 games, the 27-year-old Quebecer has 26 points.
As for the 21-year-old defenseman, he has 18 points in 44 games.
More details to follow.
