There was a scary scene last night when New Jersey Devils prospect Case McCarthy was injured and brought to the hospital

McCarthy injured

Case McCarthy, who was the fourth round pick for the Devils in 2019, was hospitalized last night, after crashing into the boards
According to reports McCarthy has broken his collarbone, which would end his season.
He is currently tied with Canadiens prospect Lane Hutson for the best defensive pairing in the NCAA. This will be a big hit for McCarthys' team who are trying their best to make a good run at the playoffs.
His coach, Jay Pandolfo, commented on the injury:
»It's always scary to see one of your players and teammates go down like that. The good news is, he got up. He's got movement in all of his extremities so that's good news; he's doing very well.»

Hopefully McCarthy will be able to recover before next season, and can continue down his current path to the NHL.
