Tony DeAngelo, the talented yet often controversial defenseman, has never been shy from expressing his opinions. Neither has his current coach, John Tortorella.
So when DeAngelo found himself benched as a healthy scratch for the Philadelphia Flyers' last five games of the season, it was only a matter of time before he shared his thoughts on the matter.

DeAngelo's season has been impressive, with 11 goals and 42 points in 70 games.
However, this wasn't enough for Tortorella, who benched him the last five games, a decision he found difficult to swallow.
In a recent interview, he mentioned that being left off the team left a "sour taste" in his mouth.
Though he accepted Tortorella's decision, DeAngelo didn't hold back in expressing his frustration. In another tweet, he called the benching "ridiculous," emphasizing his dissatisfaction with the move.
While DeAngelo has been vocal about his benching, Tortorella has chosen to remain silent on the matter.
The Flyers' coach has previously mentioned that DeAngelo needs to work on his defensive game – a possible reason behind the recent decision.
