Things go from bad to worse for Shane Wright
Needless to say, Shane Wright was seen as the future first overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft for quite some time, but he was finally released at number four.
In the Kraken's season opener on Wednesday night, the young forward only played 6 minutes 14 seconds, but he was in uniform.
In Thursday night's game, the Kraken head coach simply decided to leave him out.
We obviously don't know what the Kraken's plans are for him, but we can imagine that if Wright only plays 6 minutes or is sidelined, he will return to play junior for the sake of his development.
