Shane Wright's start to his NHL career is not what he would have hoped for. In fact, everything has gone wrong since he was passed over by three teams in the draft last July.

With just one assist in five games, there is no need to be alarmed about the young center's performance. Few 18-year-olds can perform well in the Bettman circuit.
However, the use of him remains questionable, as Wright watched Tuesday night's game from the press box for the third time in the team's eight games.
It's hard to understand what the Kraken's plans are for him. Leaving an 18-year-old in the stands virtually every other game suggests he may well return to junior for this season.
According to what Marc-Olivier Cook, from Danslescoulisses.com, mentions, the plan is to keep Wright for the entire NHL season. However, it changes very quickly in the NHL and the kid's performance, as well as his work ethic, will have to be on point if he wants to stay in the big league.
