The Red Wings have a surprise in store for the Canadiens and it's going to be a bumpy ride
The Habs surprised many in the first game of the season with a 4-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. It was an emotional performance with surprisingly good execution.
What is different about the Canadiens this year is the stature of the players. Accustomed to seeing a small team that gets manhandled more often than not, fans now have the chance to see much larger players like Juraj Slafkovsky, Arber Xhekaj, Kaiden Guhle and Kirby Dach.
The Wings took notes and decided to dress a very heavy trio for this duel. Elmer Soderblom is 6'8" and 249 lbs, Michael Rasmussen is 6'6" and 209 lbs, while fellow trio member Oskar Sundqvist is 6'3" and 209 lbs.
It promises to be a very tough game!
