The Montreal Canadiens make some player changes
The Canadiens announced in the final minutes that they had sent goalie Cayden Primeau to Laval and recalled defenseman Corey Schueneman.
Jake Allen could not be in the lineup on Monday because his wife gave birth. He is back in the lineup.
The injury to Michael Mathesom was more serious than expected, so Schueneman will be the seventh defenseman with the team until Edmundson or Matheson returns to the game.
