The Montreal Canadiens organization has just made a wave of important cuts, as 23 players have been cut.
Here is the official statement from the team:
« MONTREAL -- Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced Friday that the team has cut 13 forwards, eight defencemen and two goaltenders for a total of 23 players.
The players will report to the Laval Rocket's training camp, which begins on Sunday, October 2.

Pierrick Dubé, John Parker-Jones, Miguël Tourigny and William Trudeau
Peter Abbandonato, Anthony Beauregard, Gabriel Bourque, Santino Centorame, Tory Dello, Philippe Desrosiers, Ryan Francis, Olivier Galipeau, Alex Green, Danick Martel, Émile Poirier, Brennan Saulnier, Brett Stapley and Joe Vrbetic."
