The Maple Leafs Get Some Terrible News About One of Their Top Defenders
Jake Muzzin's injuries appear to be much more serious than expected.
During the Insider Trading segment on TSN, the renowned Chris Johnston revealed some information about the defenseman, who has been an integral part of the Maple Leafs' defensive corps since joining the team.
"Jake Muzzin went to California to see a specialist last week to look at the head and neck area where he's had a number of injuries, and I can tell you there's a legitimate concern about what the next move might look like if he were to return."
If Muzzin can't recover from these injuries, it will be interesting to see what the Maple Leafs do with his cap space.
