We're really happy for him. He'll have another chance to shine with a young team.
Kent Hughes let him go, but not without trying to keep him. The Habs GM's plan was to keep him, but the CH's forward situation decided otherwise.

It's not easy to get rid of contracts like those of Mike Hoffman, Brendan Gsllgher or Joel Armia. These deals take the wind out of Kent Hughes' sails. Players like Gurianov simply can't do themselves justice.
