Terrible news just hit Alexander Ovechkin and his family
Alex Ovechkin left the Washington Capitals earlier this week to attend a family matter in Russia.
It is expected that Ovechkin will be missing a sufficient amount of time to stay with family.
This morning, he sadly announced via Instagram that his father has passed away.
