Shane Wright Is Looking Like He Could Be A Huge Draft Bust After Coaches Decision
The Seattle Kraken felt like they won the lottery when Shane Wright was still available for them to select him 4th overall.
Many believed this would be a move that teams like the Montreal Canadiens would regret not selecting him, but after a failed attempt to make the Kraken this season Wright was sent back to junior.
Wright Falling To Make It
Wright would be acquired by the Windsor Spitfires in a bidding war, but Wright and the Spitfires would get swept by the number 8th seed Kitchener Rangers.
After that embarrassment Wright was moved up the the Kraken's AHL Affiliate Charlotte Checkers who are currently playing in the Calder Cup final but after just 4 points in 12 games Wright is now a healthy scratch by the Checkers.
This obviously isn't looking good for a kid with so much potential he Wright could end up being one of the biggest busts in NHL history.
