Thanks to a bad decision by Binnington, Ryan Hartman scored an effortless goal.
The Wild forward entered the offensive zone in pursuit of the puck. As he approached a breakaway, Binnington abandoned his net to stop him, but Hartman skillfully evaded him and scored in the empty net.
After the goal, Hartman's celebration seemed aimed at Binnington, making the goaltender's mistake much more bitter.
