Patrick Roy sent off in the middle of a match
The preparatory games have begun in the QMJHL and the Remparts were hosting the Cataractes for the occasion. It was a repeat of last year's series, with the same referee who caused controversy in a heartbreaking Remparts loss.
It seems that Patrick Roy, the Remparts' head coach, has a long memory, since he contested, a little too intensely for their liking, a decision by the referees. Official Nicolas Dutil kicked him out of the game.
The word is clear: no outbursts will be tolerated this season in the QMJHL.
