The Florida Panthers have been busy today, as we just learned that they signed a new player today.

In the midst of the playoffs, the Panthers signed defenseman Uvis Balinskis to a one season deal.
"Uvis Balinskis signs a one-year NHL entry-level contract with the Florida Panthers."

The 26-year-old is a Latvian back who has played big games on the international stage, such as the World Championship and the Olympics.
In fact, he has 35 points, including 11 goals, in 50 games this season in the Czech Elite League, while adding seven points in 10 playoff games.
His agreement will be valid starting with the 2023-2024 season.
