Nick Suzuki reaches a new personal high in brilliant fashion
Nick Suzuki had the opportunity to set a new personal best tonight against the Capitals by adding a point to his record. The 23-year-old forward scored a beautiful shorthanded goal for his 62nd point of the season, surpassing his total from last year.
Despite playing alongside numerous linemates in 2022-2023, the Red-White captain has found a way to produce at an impressive rate as he has 63 points in 79 games. He also added an assist on Joel Armia's goal to bring his total to 24 goals and 39 assists this season.
It will be very interesting to see how many points Nick Suzuki can put up in the next few years once the Tricolore's roster is healthy and the organization's many prospects have matured.
