Nick Suzuki has put his finger on one of Martin St-Louis' best qualities
Being the newly named captain of the Montreal Canadiens comes with its share of interviews and press conferences. Nick Suzuki won't have time to rest until the season starts, that's official.
Just over 24 hours after the announcement making him the youngest captain in Tricolore history, Nick Suzuki was already on l'Antichambre on RDS. The panelists asked number 14 a lot of questions, but there was one in particular that caught our attention.
His favourite thing about Martin St-Louis is his pre-game speeches. We all know how good a communicator Martin is. Suzuki said it's like having the head coach on the ice with them. He sees the game so well that when the players come back to the bench, they feel like Martin was on the game.
