The Edmonton Oilers' season has been uneven, to say the least. It started with a lot of struggles, followed by an impressive 8-game winning streak. However, after two consecutive losses, Head Coach Kris Knoblauch has decided to mix things up by demoting Connor Brown, one of Ken Holland's prominent offseason acquisitions.

"Oilers lines at practice:

Kane-McDavid-Hyman
RNH-Draisaitl-Foegele
Janmark-McLeod-Brown
Erne-Hamblin-Gagner

Nurse-Ceci
Ekholm-Bouchard
Kulak-Desharnais
Gleason

Skinner
Pickard

Derek Ryan didn't play in the 3rd period last night after colliding with Kevin Stenlund."

Considering his lack of significant contributions this season, scoring only 1 point in 22 games with the Oilers, Knoblauch's decision to demote Brown sends a strong message.
