Must See: Tyler Seguin Forced to Show ID to Arena Security Guard
Tyler Seguin seems to be a goofy guy and today he got himself into a goofy situation at work. As he was presumably trying to go to work he had to go through security, who apparently did not recognize the Stars forward. Seguin has been with the team since the 2013-14 season and has played 700 games for the club.
Security Guard Stops Seguin
Apparently, Seguin is not well known enough in Dallas as the security guard did not seem to recognize him. As a result, Seguin took out his phone and showed the security guard a picture of him in a Stars jersey, presumably from the team's official media day. He even put on a goofy grin, trying to match the expression in the picture.
This may have been a minor inconvenience for the Stars forward but the entire hockey world got a good laugh out of it so hopefully he would take that trade.
