Mike Matheson just moved to Montreal for good with a house worth over $4 million
In the world of hockey, it may not seem like a big deal to buy a house in the city where you play, but it actually means a lot.
Everything can change quickly, but normally, if you buy a house, it's because you're here to stay for a long time.
That's the case for Michael Matheson who recently purchased a property in Westmount.
The Canadiens' defenseman, acquired this summer from the Pittsburgh Penguins, is now permanently settled in the city, having just purchased a house for the modest sum of $4.1 million.
Matheson will be just minutes away from Nick Suzuki's home.
Suzuki is under contract through the 2025-2026 season. He has 19 points in 31 games this season.
