Despite a great battle against the Golden Knights on Saturday night at the Bell Centre, the Tricolore ran out of time and lost by a score of 6-4. In the loss, Nick Suzuki scored twice, while Cole Caufield and Juraj Slafkovsky had the other two goals. Honourable mention to Kirby Dach who had three assists. During the post-game press conference, Renaud Lavoie asked Martin if he saw the glass as half full or half empty about the fact that Suzuki's trio is sensational, but the others aren't producing.
