As is customary, the Canadians faced the Americans in the final of the World Women's Hockey Championship. Canada managed to win the gold medal, but not without difficulty, as the players combined their efforts to win 2-1.

When we say they pulled together, they literally did. Even Marie-Philip Poulin, who is known for scoring big, winning goals, helped her team win... by blocking a point-blank shot in the dying moments of the game.
A sequence that adds to the countless highlights of Poulin's career so far.
