Major transaction alert: Mattias Ekholm traded to Edmonton
The Edmonton Oilers have just made a big move to solidify their defensive brigade, as they acquired Mattias Ekholm from the Nashville Predators.
In 57 games this season, the 32-year-old defenseman had 18 points, including five goals. He is signed for three more years at an average annual fee of $6.25 million.
