In the last few months, it is fair to say that the Habs' management has learned from the events in the hockey world and is also trying to evolve along with society.

As Marco Normandin of habsolumentFan.com mentions, in an effort to protect themselves and their players, the Habs have called every member of the team to a mandatory 90-minute course on respect and consent.

Sportsnet reporter Eric Engels reported that the training will be co-taught by former NHL player Bruno Gervais and Geneviève Paquette, Vice President of Community Engagement and Executive Director of the Canadiens Children's Foundation.

We appreciate the proactivity of the Canadiens' organization, which seems to have learned from the controversy involving young Logan Mailloux, among others. They are now trying to better supervise their players by giving them the necessary tools and adequate education on this major issue in society today, with the goal of making their players better people in society.

More details will follow.
