Montreal Canadiens promising young defenseman Lane Hutson is currently playing his first game with Boston University in the Frozen Four tournament.

Hutson's team is playing Western Michigan University in a sudden death game, which means that the losing team will officially end their season.
The 62nd pick of the Tricolore in the last draft has just broken a historical record that seemed absolutely impossible to beat.
In scoring the first goal of the game, Hutson broke the record held by the legendary Brian Leetch for most points scored in a season by a rookie with his 48th of the campaign. He scored 15 goals in the process, while Leetch had only nine.
Another extremely impressive fact is that the 19 year old is now only two points away from beating Cale Makar AND Quinn Hughes' first season combined. Yes, yes, combined!
This is absolutely crazy!
