Kent Hughes has a golden opportunity to really hurt the Boston Bruins
The Boston Bruins came to our backyard with the acquisition of Anthony Richard. It's hard to understand the Quebecer's decision, given that he signed a two-way contract.
Now, Kent Hughes trade for 24-year-old goaltender Jeremy Swayman. Swayman has asked to be traded for a chance to become number-one goalie elsewhere.
With Linus Ullmark ahead of him, Swayman is restricted and hungry to play more games. The Habs still don't officially have a number-one goaltender, and we have no idea what will happen with Samuel Montembeault this season.
Imagine the scenario if Hughes pulls a rabbit out of his hat and is able to get his hands on Swayman. It would be epic, and would certainly spice up the duels between the two teams.
