Kent Hughes and the Habs claim a defenceman from the Jets
The Montreal Canadiens have announced that they have claimed right-handed defenceman Johnathan Kovacevic in the lottery.
Kovacevic, 25, has played only four games in his career with the Jets, notching no points in the process.
The Niagara Falls, Ontario native is a former third round pick of the Jets in 2017.
