Jeff Gorton provides injury update on Suzuki and Edmundson
Montreal Canadiens Vice President of Operations Jeff Gorton spoke with Mitch Melnick on TSN Radio this afternoon.
Gorton was asked about the injuries to Nick Suzuki and defenseman Joel Edmundson. He said the two players collided together in practice earlier this week.
The good news is that Suzuki's injury doesn't worry him at all.
As for Edmundson, Gorton confirmed that it is a back injury, but that he was already feeling better this morning. The defenseman missed most of last season with a back injury.
