Carter Hart's hours in Philadelphia are numbered. The 24-year-old goalie hasn't lived up to expectations in recent seasons, and a parting of ways between him and the team now seems inevitable, for the good of both parties.
Now that the rumors are flying, Darren Dreger has launched a very important rumor that could change the face of the Edmonton Oilers.
Dreger lists the Oilers and Connor McDavid as favorites to acquire the high-potential goaltender.
Imagine the Oilers with a fit Carter Hart. It could be the key piece they need to move up a level. Edmonton has a terrific attack, but gives away far too many goals.
Acquiring a goalie of Hart's calibre would put them directly in the running for the Stanley Cup.
