Insider Reveals Star goaltender could be on the move
The 2023-24 NHL season is right around the corner, but even after a busy summer, it appears that things may still heat up, especially surrounding one young goaltender.
A breakout campaign
The Vegas Golden Knights made history in 2022-23, landing their first Stanley Cup in franchise history, and they did so in part due to the incredible breakout season of goaltender Logan Thompson.
The 26-year old had a stellar campaign, putting together a 21-13-3 record with a .915 save percentage and 2.65 GAA, but now, Eklund of Hockey Buzz has revealed that he could still be on the move.
A costly acquisition
While it's not going to come cheap, Eklund revealed that Thompson is 'available', although it's likely he's not being actively shopped by Vegas, who still have a solid goaltending room.

At 26-years old, Thompson still has a very bright future in the NHL, many believing he can do so as a starting goaltender, and now, with teams like Buffalo, Edmonton, New Jersey and others likely seeking goaltending help, he could be the perfect, albeit costly acquisition to help them take the next step.
