INCREDIBLE | Connor McDavid is from another planet and here is the proof!

It's been several years since Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid became the poster boy of the National Hockey League, earning the status of the best hockey player in the world in the process.

The 26-year-old forward continues to amaze hockey fans as he consistently pushes the limits with his total dominance in the league in terms of offensive production.

If we thought the Oilers captain had already reached the peak of his potential, this season proves he's definitely from another planet.

In yesterday's win over the San Jose Sharks, McDavid surpassed the 82-point mark in just 44 games. It's absolutely mind-blowing!

In an NHL where parity is a big factor in the outcome of games today, where the caliber of play has never been better in the history of hockey, where goaltenders are equipped to make a bigger difference in a game than ever before, McDavid is pushing the standard even further.

It's hard to compare different eras of hockey, but what #97 is doing is so crazy it's almost absurd. His dominance has reached a point of no return.

If he keeps up this pace of production, the man known as "McJesus" could end the season with 69 goals and 153 points, it's completely insane!

With such a production of points, he would join Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Steve Yzerman, Phil Esposito and Bernie Nicholls, the only holders of a 150+ point season in their careers. Let's add to the nuance that this kind of production did not exist in the NHL since the last one that was done by Lemieux 30 years ago in 1992-1993.

Moreover, another proof that McDavid is on another planet right now, he has 16 points more than his closest pursuer in the race of the best scorers, which his teammate Leon Draisaitl.
