Aside from the fact that the Canadiens are a young team, something has been off for several years now, and it's quite obvious. Indeed, the special teams play is very tedious.

The penalty kill is bad, and the power play is even worse. Yet, there are players capable of scoring, so a wake-up call is needed.
It seems that Martin St-Louis and Alex Burrows are ready to try anything to reignite the spark with a man advantage, while Arber Xhekaj was used on the 2nd power play unit during practice.
We know that the defenseman has a good shot and consistently hits the target. Let's see now if he can help a lackluster five-on-five offense level up.
