Huge prediction about the Montreal Canadiens and the Stanley Cup
If we told you that the Habs would win the Stanley Cup next year, we'd get tomatoes thrown at us and with good reason.
However, if we told you that the precious trophy will be back in Montreal in 2029, it would be much more plausible!
Indeed, EA Sports and its NHL game have had fun simulating the winners of the Cup until 2030. The Tricolore looks very good with a final in 2028 and a championship in 2029.
Of note, three Canadian teams would win the famous trophy in the next seven years, starting with Toronto next season.
Of course, these are just predictions made by an artificial intelligence. However, the Habs are really building something solid right now and it wouldn't be surprising if they were a contender in five years.
