Hockey Insider Reveals The Fate Of The Arizona Coyotes

The Arizona Coyotes have been struggling for a hot minute now, and are currently playing in an inadequate arena that falls short of NHL standards.

Despite their temporary use of Mullet Arena, the Coyotes, along with Commissioner Gary Bettman, have been making efforts to secure a new rink in the Tempe Entertainment District and are requesting financial assistance from the people of Arizona.

Regrettably, it appears that things have not been going in the desired direction for Bettman and the Coyotes. After losing their bid for a new arena, there is a possibility that the Coyotes may have to relocate.

Friedman on 32TP says IF the arena vote is no in Arizona this week, does the NHL go to Mat Ishbia and say, can we do something here?

Yes we have to re-do your arena, but there is big money at the end of it for you. Do we have a partnership here?

Or, does the NHL start looking at Houston, Salt Lake City, Sacramento, Kansas City as the new home of the Coyotes?

Can we just do the most common sense move and relocate them to Quebec and would the NHL realign?

We are very disappointed Tempe voters did not approve Propositions 301, 302, and 303. As Tempe Mayor Corey Woods said, it was the best sports deal in Arizona history. The Coyotes wish to thank everyone who supported our efforts and voted yes."

After losing the bid the question now is will the Arizona Coyotes, try to find alternative ways to keep the Coyotes in the desert, or is it finally time they decided to look in the mirror and realize it's not working in Arizona.
