Appearing on BPM Sports, contributor Bob Hartley once again made a hilarious statement about how the Habs unearthed one of their rookie defensemen, Johnathan Kovacevic. Kovacevic, we found him at the Dollarama in the bottom shelf, granny bent down, she packed the rugs pi he was there. - Bob Hartley The former NHL coach really likes the pairing of the latter with Jordan Harris. Again this morning, as he has done several times since the season began, Hartley sent them flowers for their work in the game against the Minnesota Wild yesterday. Even though he has yet to get a point, the 25-year-old has been surprisingly effective in the defensive zone. Right now, Kovacevic is making Hughes look like a genius for claiming the defenseman for free in the opening round of the season. He'll never be flamboyant on the ice, but you have to admit that the 6-foot-5 defenseman offers a great caliber of play to his team and he complements his pairing with Harris wonderfully. Do you like Johnathan Kovacevic's performance so far this season?
