Here is an interesting solution to revive Kirby Dach and Jonathan Drouin
We've been talking about it for a while, there will be a lot of forwards on the Habs this year. It will be a real headache for Martin St-Louis to form trios with the players in place, especially with all the internal competition there will be. Let's face it, it will be a happy problem for the coach!
As my colleagues at Fanadiens.com mention, TVA Sports reporter Anthony Martineau has come up with a very interesting trio to re-sign Jonathan Drouin and Kirby Dach.
According to Martineau, a trio of Drouin, Dach and Anderson could well smile on the CH, and here's why:
"I firmly believe that Kirby Dach will have a great season with the CH.
How many players have really taken off after a trade? Many.
Big, fast, skilled passer. I can see him eventually moving to the center of Drouin and Anderson.
Dach is not the most physical, nor the best shooter. But I just think a combination with Anderson would make him want to play "bigger" and #17 would also benefit from Dach's vision.
Add to that Drouin's speed and skill and...💥 "

In short, it could make for a trio molded for today's NHL, when a nice mix of speed, toughness and finesse could create some flare.
