Habs 2023 Drafting Strategy Revealed!
The Montreal Canadiens' prospect pool is fairly well stocked on offense and defense. The majority of the young talent on the roster fills those two areas quite well.
However, if there is one area in the organization that still has a big question mark, it's the future goaltender in net.
While there are a few interesting goalies on the Habs like Cayden Primeau, Jakub Dobes and Frederik Dichow, none of them are really guaranteed to become a number one goalie in the NHL.
According to Sportsnet's Eric Engels, the Tricolore will try to fill this glaring need in the upcoming draft by finding their goalie of the future for the Montreal franchise.
The Habs have tended to neglect the goalie draft in recent years, never really selecting a goalie until the fourth or fifth round of the draft.
It's time for that to change!
