The Vegas Golden Knights have never shied away from making blockbuster moves. From trading for Mark Stone, Max Pacioretty and Jack Eichel, to playing games with the expansion draft and the salary cap, the Golden Knights are a high-energy, crafty franchise. In an interview with Jesse Granger of <I>The Athletic</i>, GM Bill Foley revealed his intentions for this year's trade deadline. <q>I don't see us being very active. We've made some big splashes in the past</q> <q>I think if we did something it would be more in that $3 million range. Somewhere down in that level. It would probably be a forward, too, who can help us drive through the playoffs.</q> So, while the Golden Knights have been huge players in the past, it appears they are content with the longevity of their roster in an era where the salary cap could increase significantly. If they are to look for a player, it will be a relatively inexpensive one. There aren't many impact pieces in the realm of $3-million, but if one team can find one, it will be the Golden Knights.
