Despite the fact that Mike Hoffman scored his first goal of the season in the Habs' loss on Saturday, Hoffman's play has been hard to watch so far this season.

For a player who is labelled as a natural scorer, the CH's #68 has only one goal in six games and has only gotten nine shots on net during that time.
Let's face it, if Hoffman isn't creating anything offensively, he's useless. Worse yet, he even becomes a liability for his team.
If there is one journalist who does not enjoy the game of the 32-year-old forward, it is François Gagnon of RDS.
During last Saturday's game, Gagnon mentioned that according to him, Mike Hoffman just doesn't know how to play hockey.
It is clear that the sequence mentioned by the journalist proves him right.
Hoffman regularly makes bad decisions on the ice during games, and this particular decision ruins an offensive attempt of his team and creates a dangerous rebound for the opposing team.
The problem with all of this is that the mediocre play that the forward offers his team prevents any possibility of trading him to another NHL team. With one more season left on his $4.5M contract for next year, it would be very surprising if any team took a chance on him.
