Fans Confused After Controversial Goal
The Dallas Stars and Seattle Kraken continued their best-of-seven series Tuesday night, with the Kraken leading the series 2-1.
There was some controversy, to say the least, in this one after a goal by Stars forward Max Domi was challenged for goaltender interference.
In the footage, it appeared that Stars captain Jamie Benn bumped into Kraken goaltender Philipp Grubauer, providing Domi with an opportunity to snipe the puck in.
The Kraken challenged the play for goaltender interference, but the goal was upheld. Consequently, the Kraken received a delay-of-game penalty due to the unsuccessful challenge, leading to a power-play goal by Joe Pavelski.
The Stars went on to win the game 6-3, tying the series at 2-2. However, many feel that the controversial goal was the turning point in this match.
