If he's always had a reputation for being the top scorer in every league he's played in in his life, he's doing the same in the best league in the world.

Since Martin St-Louis arrived behind the Habs' bench, the 21-year-old American has literally taken off and has been finding the back of the net at a frightening rate ever since.

On Twitter, L'Antichambre made a very interesting publication because we learn that he is tied with Connor McDavid and Steven Stamkos since February 9th, it's totally amazing!

Here are the top scorers since February 9, 2022 :

Let's just say that number 22 of the CH is in very good company and it's only just beginning for him, being by far the youngest player of the group with four years difference on the second youngest, Auston Matthews.

It would be surprising if Caufield maintains his goal production this season, but it's impressive that he's on pace to reach the 60-goal plateau right now.

How fortunate that the little winger slipped all the way to the 15th pick in the 2019 draft!
