Last week, Corey Perry officially signed with the Edmonton Oilers.

Perry finally made his debut with the Oilers on Saturday. Perry got a lot of attention, even if he failed to write his name on the scoresheet.

Perry Spotted Wearing Teammates' Equipment

A recent photo published on X, unmistakably shows Perry wearing the gloves of his new teammate Dylan Holloway and the stick of his ex-teammate from the Montreal Canadiens, Josh Anderson.

Perry, famously one of the most superstitious players in the League, might believe this will help him perform in games. Yet, in his first game as an Oiler, he didn't score.

Perry's Potential Impact in Edmonton Remains Unseen After First Game

There's little doubt about Perry's potential to significantly contribute to the Oilers, especially in the playoffs. His skills, experience and leadership will be fun to watch with his new team.
In his first game, he was pretty much invisible. He tallied two shots on goal in 12:44 of ice-time.
This season, at 38, he scored 12 points in 16 games with the Blackhawks.
Do you think Perry will score a goal at the Oilers' next game?
