Canadiens defensive prospect turns a lot of heads
The Habs had five rookies on the blue line during the season. We don't know if a guy like Justin Barron has convinced the team that he's NHL ready, but in the case of Jordan Harris, Kaiden Guhle, Arber Xhekaj and Johnathan Kovacevic, it's pretty clear that they belong on the team.
Just like the last training camp, another defenseman could well come and confuse the cards next September. According to Nicolas Cloutier, who covers the Canadiens' prospects and those throughout the NHL for TVA Sports, Jayden Struble is in a class by himself.
This is quite a revelation, when just a few weeks ago, it was still unclear whether Struble was planning to sign with the Habs, or even if he was ready to play for the Rocket.
